JAMS

I’m sitting at JAMS right now.  For those of you who don’t know what JAMS is… it stands for Jared and Mike’s.  Jared Tolley and Mike Sandberg for you Calvary Folk.  For those in Morehead, these are two guys that I went to high school with.  As I’m sitting here hanging out with some of my closest friends it just made me think how grateful and appreciative I should be for the life that God is allowing me to live.  It’s great!  I mean, not only do I have an absolutely insanely cool family, but I can come back from school and pick up right where I left off with friends from high school.  We can all come together and just hang out, no one has to entertain or put on a show.  It’s just natural, it’s how it should be.  Oh, did I mention that 4 of the 5 other guys here are 2-3 years older than me.  I just thought I’d mention that because people always told me that my high school friendships would die off.  Well, we’re going three years strong here and we don’t plan on stopping.  I mean, I realize that eventually people are going to start getting married, starting their careers and moving away… the LAN parties may disappear.  But, I’m just thankful for what I have now.

Thanks everyone.  Thanks God.
